How to request account deletion
There is no in-app button — deletion requests are handled personally by email so we can verify it is really you:
- Cancel any active subscription first (Google Play → Subscriptions, or email us for website plans) so you are not billed again.
- Email support@evstopstation.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". You may use this button:
Email a deletion request - Keep the confirmation email we send back. We acknowledge requests within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving the request.
- Once deleted, the account and its data cannot be restored. Sign up again later if you change your mind.

What we delete
- Account information: name, email address, profile photo and any phone number, plus your Google Sign-In link.
- App activity: saved/favourite stations, search and route history, preferences and settings.
- Usage records: search credits, quota balances and credit ledger entries.
- Support messages you sent us that are tied to your account.
What we keep, and for how long
- Billing records (invoice numbers, payment transaction IDs, amounts and payer email) are kept for 8 years, because Indian tax and accounting law requires it. Only this minimal financial data is retained — no app activity or location data.
- Security and abuse-prevention logs (e.g. rate-limit and fraud records) are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically.
- Anonymised, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you (e.g. total search counts) may be kept to improve the service.
Location queries are never stored as a history of your movements; they are deleted along with your account.
Guest users
If you used EV Stop Station without signing in, there is no account to delete. Clear the app's local storage by uninstalling the app (or clearing site data in your browser), and revoke the location permission in Android Settings → Apps → EV Stop Station → Permissions.
